Artist Robert Ruth to Display His Work at The Harman Eye Clinic

Robert Ruth

Robert Ruth

This September and October we are excited to welcome back artist Robert Ruth.

Robert Ruth’s pen and ink drawings are primarily a style called pointillism.  Combining this style with a few delicate lines, Robert renders his subjects with precision and loving care.

Once an original is completed, Robert creates black and white limited edition prints on 100% rag, neutral PH balanced paper.  The quality of this stock is meant to give a lifetime of viewing enjoyment with no worries of the life expectancy of the  print.

To make a black and white print come alive with color, Robert then hand colors it with watercolor.  The print then becomes a unique piece of art, an “ORIGINAL PRINT” that is signed and numbered – a valuable addition to any art collection.

Family and friends are welcome from Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the entrance to The Harman Eye Clinic.

With September comes a new season

I’m excited about at least two changes that will take place in September.

It’s time to renew The Harman Art Gallery.  During the next two months, The Harman Eye Clinic will host local artists, Nancy Hueter and Joan Johnson.  Both artists work in oil and acrylic.  The show should have upwards of 45 fine paintings to choose from.  As we have done in the past, artists display their contact numbers.  All purchases are made directly through the artists.  There is no charge to the artists.  A lovely program booklet is made for each showcase.  It has become a well-received tradition for our visitors and I’ll be sure to include a program here when it’s published!

During the month of September apply a 10% savings to all refractive surgery

Also in September comes a long awaited “savings” month for all refractive surgery procedures.  A ten percent savings can be applied to iLASIK, PRK, multifocal lens implant upgrade (CrystaLens, Tecnis Multifocal), Toric lens implant, Refractive Lens Exchange. Your savings could even fund a mighty fine winter weekend at Whistler to celebrate your brand new vision!  We are combining this savings with the already standing ten-percent refractive savings for all active military and the ten-percent loyalty refractive savings to any patient who has had surgery with us in the past.

As for today, our staff is working diligently to make sure each patient is seen promptly.  Although we started off on a challenging foot this morning, we have been on top of everyone’s schedule and we see smiles all around now.  It makes for a great day!

Best to you,

Barbara C. Aliaga, Practice Administrator
